Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Ouro Preto LLC, Huntsville, Alabama, USA ("Palavra", "we"). By creating an account or using palavra.world (the "Service") you agree to them.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You must give accurate information, including your date of birth. One account per person.
2. Your account
Keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us right away about any unauthorized use.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to follow the Community Guidelines. You may not use the Service to harass, defraud, solicit money, send spam or advertising, share sexual content, impersonate others, collect other members' data, interfere with the Service, or break any law.
4. Your content
You own what you post. You grant Palavra a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display and transmit your content only as needed to operate and improve the Service. Moments, comments, corrections and forum posts are visible to other members; messages and letters are visible only to the sender and recipient. You're responsible for your content and must have the right to post it.
5. Moderation
We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the guidelines, or that put others at risk, with or without notice.
6. Other members
Palavra does not run background checks and isn't responsible for the conduct of members on or off the Service. Use caution, and never send money to anyone you meet online. See the Safety Center.
7. The Service
The Service is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available". Features may change. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Palavra and Ouro Preto LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to US $100.
9. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or end access for violations of these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Madison County, Alabama, unless your local law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are material we'll notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated terms.
